After graduating from UMass-Lowell in 2019, Noelle started training for the U.S. Paralympic team with a goal of competing in Track & Field, a sport in which she had never participated. She chose the 100-meter sprint event and qualified for the USA Paralympic Team. She went on to compete at the World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in November 2019, where she broke the U.S. women’s record with a time of 16.31 seconds, a fourth-place finish. After the 2020 Paralympic Games were postponed to 2021, Noelle was finally able to compete where she finished in 6th place with a time of 15.97, breaking her own American record.
